Medicare’s Shared Savings Program (MSSP) is a voluntary program that encourages high-quality care for Medicare beneficiaries. In order to join the program, you must be part of an Accountable Care Organization (ACO). If you are part of an ACO and are enrolled in the MSSP, you will be expected to:
- Coordinate items and services for Medicare fee-for-service (FFS) beneficiaries.

- Publicly report healthcare performance results.
